Background flashbacks, Bones telling him part of his past and about his family, Shep joining his life, and all those helping him swirl into a fantastic, fast paced, suspenseful read. Service with a mission to go for the one, and save not only physically, but to heal and strengthen. Loved the recruitment of the new team members the support of the VP, and the determination and grit of Bones, and Murphy to unravel the mystery of Bone's location.
