More of a ladies man, and loving his parties, he and Olivia, a school teacher, don't see eye to eye as neighbors. Through a quirky circumstances, Will gets Olivia to come to a game, and also has her pretend to be his girlfriend. When he wins the game, and with her liked by management and his friends, she becomes his good luck charm. When she is there, he seems to bring his a-game and be at his best on the field. While he doesn't think they are a perfect fit, her sincerity, charm, and good looks, warm his way into his heart until he can't seem to think how he can play, and live without her.
