Romance, clean, contemporary; Series but standalone read

This was a cute retelling of My Fair Lady. More of a 3.5 for me as a reader, but one of the better things I have read recently. Loved how it the couple fell for each other, how Henry's secret was exposed (it was pretty heavily hinted at especially in the prologue), but cute to see how Eliza falls for Henry, and he obviously enjoys getting to know Eliza in return after all the disingenuous women he has been around. I think I loved the premise all around, and Henry, with his suave, but down to earth and likeable demeanor, and just his general Aussieness! (Awesome-ness for SURE!). 

The blog that the author wrote about the cover model was the best! So fun how that came about! Fun cute read!

The Indebted Earl Serendipty and Secrets Book 3 Erica Vetsch GoodReads Review    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭑ Romance, clean, Regency; mild Christian faith elements Lovely romance with Captain Charles Wyvern and Lady Sophia (Sophie) told so well. While the plot was easy to guess, the specifics with sailing, the naval scenes, the war wounds, the situation with relatives, the wards, and the whole scope of the novel, was just so well put together, I didn't mind the easy guess as to where the plot was heading. Strong depictions of many of the supporting characters, and of the depth of Charles' naval situation, and his love of the sea, make for a stunning, and deeply moving portrait of a naval officer in a transition point of his career. Sophie's situation with her 'mother-in-law', her devotion to her and Rich's memory, reminded me of the story of Ruth from the Bible.  The grieving of many people in the novel for Major Richardson was also so well described and detailed. "Love by Chance" by Kacy Cross

Love by Chance by Kacy Cross GoodReads Review  ⭐⭐⭐⭑ Romance, clean; contemporary Cute light romance, more of a 3.5 for me as a reader. Very fun, light romance. Claire's mom keeps trying to set Claire up. Eric is one of those unfortunate men, however, he likes Claire, and as their relationship develops and Clair's Mom's deception and his begins to unravel a bit, he is feeling very conflicted. Their sweet, genuine attraction and budding feelings made for a nice honest romance, with that fun chemistry that makes any romance fan want to read. Fun setting, twist in the backstory, but their fun interactions, and obvious attraction and great chemistry made for a fun romance. Eric is such a fun H, he makes us want to root for his success and for Clair and he to get a HEA. Fun, cute escape read as always!
