Romance, clean, contemporary; series but stand alone read; PG13 for detailed make out scene 


Sweet romance with just the right amount of swoony romance. Juliet and Noah were great characters, both flawed, but genuine, and with honest hearts. SW knows how to draw you in with the subtle moments that make characters real, compelling, and wanting more from every turned page. She gets the moments that build attraction, romance, and relationships. Her characters are human, flawed, and real. The hurts, triumphs, and tender moments that make everyday life and make her readers cry, hope, cheer, and love her worlds. 

Loved the Hollywood setting and the back stories with her friend Shelby, Allen, Juliet and Noah's parents, the neighbors, Juliet's job , and so many other details. Magnus was such a great foil for them both. Noah's care and concern for her, and anyone in Juliet's orbit. Perfect pacing, some fun subtle hints to the actor Noah was modeled after and the series he starred in, and of course the real life of that actor in Noah's sweet character and backstory that made it even more fun to read. Some fun mentions of other characters and things in other novels that SW wrote, which all of her fans will wreckage and love. Definitely a stand alone read though.

My only complaint, just wanted more of them together once they figured things out! More of a 4.5 for me as a reader. So fun, clever, witty, well paced, and romantic that I rounded up! Sweet romance at its best! Can't wait for the next book in this series!

"Crosscheck (Northbrook Hockey Elite Book 4)" by Rebecca Connolly

Perfect romantic Sports read! Hockey backstory made this intense and fun!   "Crosscheck (Northbrook Hockey Elite Book 4)" Rebecca Connolly Romance, clean; Series, but stand-alone read This was a gorgeous read! I love R. C.'s characters in these series! She gets the interplay between the characters, adds a wonderful amount of intensity in her 'coverage'/description of the games, and just overall gets the interaction, pacing, and romance needed to move these novels forward.  This is one of my favorites in this series so far. Having a little girl, the parent side of it, the romance, and the games, so perfect as she narrates these and pulls all these threads together.  Well-crafted and a 'win' for me! Go Sabercats! "The Price of Valor" by Susan May Warren

SMW has honed her craft over the years and knows how to pull together the characters, sub characters, and the action/bad guys into a perfectly crafted novel that will leave you on the edge of your seat, and still fill you with hope, and faith in God's goodness to lead you to your heart home and faith.   Loved this read!
